Position: Main Desk Receptionist & Security/Transportation

Details: The Main Desk Receptionist position is the center for information and communication for the members, guests, and employees. This area of service also includes assisting in emergencies. Vicar’s Landing is currently expanding, and the assistant will help with the planning and implementation of a complementary activities program at Vicar’s Landing at Oak Bridge. We look forward to this staff member helping to broaden the offering of activities and bring new ideas.

Qualifications: College graduate or equivalent combination of education and experience. A degree related to Therapeutic Recreation would be strongly considered as well as experience with an activities program, preferably in a retirement community setting. Must be computer proficient (Microsoft Publisher and Office) and possess excellent attention to detail. Knowledge of fitness and group exercise programs is preferred. Must be adept at using social media outlets and have the ability to deal tactfully and positively with people and be comfortable interacting and engaging with residents.

Prior to being hired as the Chief Development Officer of LCPS Management in January of 2022, Bruce Vorsanger was the Director of Sales for Hallmark Cards- Southeast Region. He retired from this position after a 42-year career. Mr. Vorsanger graduated from the University of Arkansas and completed a degree in Business Administration. Mr. Vorsanger has been very involved in community activities including being a member of Christ Episcopal Church, a board member for Daniel Memorial Foundation, Chair for Game Operation – Gator Bowl, former President and current member of the Ponte Vedra Beach Rotary club, Chair of Life Care Ponte Vedra and Chair of Life Care Pastoral Services. He has been active with senior living for over 20 years. During his time as Chair of both LCPV and LCPS, he oversaw the completion of a total campus renovation and the start of a new campus with completion set for the Spring of 2023. Mr. Vorsanger lives in Ponte Vedra Beach with his wife Ginny and their two wonderful Golden Retrievers. They have five grown children and one grandson. Mr. Vorsanger enjoys golf, hiking and watching his Arkansas Razorbacks.
